Knowing Superpicco:

Superpicco (Superpeak) is a system derived from our experience in the field of motor customizing.
What is it? Let us start from the working of the turbine to understand easily the use of Superpicco.
As we well know, it is sufficient to slightly increase the turbine pressure of the motors that are provided with one of them, to see an increasing performance of torque and power.
 And, as we also know, if we exceed in increasing the pressure it is very probable to break the turbine or any other part of the motor. The real reason is to be found in the pressure at high rpm that produces leaning of the mixture or detonations.
Therefore when using overboosts one should be careful not to exceed certain limits of pressure. The high peaks of pressure at slow running and medium load are not dangerous, while on the contrary they are dangerous at high rpm and peak load. The use of the classic overboost involves the increase of pressure both at slow and high running.
This is the reason why it is not possible to exceedingly increase the pressure. In most cases it is necessary to be satisfied with a half-measure pressure between power torque and reliability.
For many years the car producers, which well know this problem, relied on electronics to find a solution, and in this way they succeed (not perfectly) in producing a good pressure peak to enhance the torque and a normal pressure to assure a good power.
Their problem is that it is not possible to obtain a repetition of the pressure peak. If one is above or under certain numbers of revolutions the peak cannot be effective while shifting too quickly. Therefore one is often in absence of torque, and sometimes while overtaking.

There plays a fundamental part Superpicco, so called, as it is able to produce notable and constant pressure peaks also after the swiftest shifting.
Superpicco allows the torque to have pressure also by slightly stepping on the gas pedal, besides it is possible to define the desired peak pressure and its duration. What is more it suits perfectly the driving as it is controlled by 4 different types of pressures: barometric/turbine/wastegate/air suction collector.
In any case it is possible to set it as needed. For example, if on a car with peak pressure of 1 bar, we have a torque of 22 kgm, we will install an overboost and increase the pressure up to 1.4 bar, we will obtain easily a torque of 24/25 kgm and we cannot go further for the above-mentioned obvious reasons.
But if we install Superpicco the peak pressure will increase up to 1.7 bar and we will obtain a torque of 28/29 kgm. Superpicco does not need any electrical connection, it works completely pneumatically, and as usual it is guaranteed for three years and patented.
