Most of the fuel injected engines suffer a common problem: they run lean under full load operation. If we attempt to obtain a more adequate mixture, usually we have an over rich idle. Replacing the original device with our "RISING RATE" regulator, will supply more fuel at the top-end, without causing an over-rich mixture at the lower rev/power range. Resulting in quicker acceleration and throttle response without affecting your gas mileage. Specifications on fuel enrichment system. 2:1 ratio (2 Lbs of fuel to 1 Lb of air). Full vacuum gives you more pressure with richer condition. At full throttle, you receive 2 inches of air to 1/2 pounf of fuel. This system is adjustable up to 90 PSI. To install the fuel pressure regulator you'll need to see the specifications listed on the existing regulator. The stock fuel regulator will have the bar listed, ex.: 2.8 bar. 1 bar = 14.7 PSI. Use a PSI gauge connected from the fuel rail to the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Turn the engine on. Adjust the Fuel Pressure Regulator to the same specs of the old fuel pressure regulator, then add 15% more PSI. Ex.: if the stock regulator listed 2.0 bar, that would equal 29.4 PSI, adding 15% would give you 33.8 PSI. Also for high performance applications (both turbocharged and aspirated engines).
